Hire charge rates for 2025 – no increase from 2024 rates

At the annual general meeting in May this year (2024) the village hall decided that rates should not be increased in 2025.

As a charity, we do not seek to make a profit, although we need to earn enough to both cover our running costs and ensure we have sufficient funds for maintenance & investment when it becomes necessary. We exist to offer a facility for the local community, not to particularly make money. Our inclination, therefore, is to keep costs as low as possible, to try and encourage as much use of the hall as possible, and hence deliver maximum benefit to the local community.

There will be some concessions in hire rates for local community based events. This is to encourage local community groups and engagement activities to use the hall.
